Westfield to hold Veterans Day parade and ceremony Nov. 11
The Westfield Veterans Council is organizing a Veterans Day parade and ceremony on Nov. 11, starting at City Hall and ending with an 11 a.m. ceremony at Westfield Middle School.
The City of Westfield announced Oct. 29 that the Westfield Veterans Council will hold a Veterans Day parade and ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026.
The council welcomes groups and organizations that wish to participate. Those interested can request a registration form by contacting Julie Barnes, director of Veterans' Services, at (413) 572-6247, or complete the online parade registration form.
Parade participants are asked to gather at the City Hall parking lot, 59 Court Street, by 10 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. start. The route begins at City Hall, proceeds down Court Street toward the center, turns right onto Broad Street, then right onto West Silver Street to Westfield Middle School, where a ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.
If the parade is cancelled due to inclement weather, notice will be posted on local cable channel 15 and the Veteran Facebook Page at approximately 7 a.m. the day of the parade. In that case, the ceremony will still take place as planned at the Westfield Middle School Auditorium at 11 a.m.
Residents with questions can contact Barnes at (413) 572-6247 or julie.barnes@cityofwestfield.org.
