Westfield's Early Voting Window Closes Friday

WESTFIELD — Westfield's early voting period wraps up Friday, August 28, with the city confirming Thursday and Friday as the final two days residents can cast ballots in person before the 5 p.m. cutoff. Separately, road crews began work this week on a Franklin Street improvement project spanning several blocks near downtown.

The City of Westfield's News Flash confirmed Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28, are the last two days of early voting, with polls open both days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The notice did not specify the election early voters are preparing for, but it marks the final in-person window before the standard Election Day process takes over.

The city also announced the start of a roadway improvement project along Franklin Street, covering the corridor from Shepard Street through the Elm Street intersection. Construction crews began work this week, though the city's announcement did not include a projected completion date or total project cost.
